This is an open-and-close post to mark the sale of my beloved Bag End S15 stack into the good and capable hands of Bill Thompson, projectapollo here.
I had not listed the cabs here on Talkbass, only on Craigslist for Knoxville, and that's where Bill saw that I was selling them.
Sale price was $600. Further details will be noted in the Feedback posting.
It's the end of an era for me. I had been tempted to sell the Bags last year, but changed my mind after being flooded with PMs and posts, saying, are you crazy? Has hell frozen over? and so on. But I am having to be serious about selling off all the gear that I've piled up that I'm not using, to get the debt under control, so it was time for the long pants.
Bill will be playing a Warwick Thumb into an Eden WT-405 into the Bags, which will be an excellent setup! Bill will officially inherit the "Bag Ends in the House" megathread that I started back in 2006. |
