Bergantino EX112ER

I have a like new (except smal ding) bergantino EX112ER. This is the new model ER, 8ohm, 350 watts. The small ding is locate on the back top corner (probably 1/4"). You can feel it with you finger but will not photo with the carpet. I love this cab and pairs well with my HS210 and sound good as a stand alone with fretless, but something has got me gassin'. $399 plus shipping and ships in original berg packing.

This is meant to go with the IP112, right? Which would give it 500 watts. I wonder why it's only rated at 350?

It's meant to go with any amplified sound source.
I don't see a problem with a 500W amp and a 350W cab. At all...

I don't see a problem either; I just thought it was curious. The extension cabs may not have been designed specifically for the IP, but the IP's DSP was programmed specifically for the extension cabs.
I know there's a rule of thumb that you want an amp that can provide twice the power the speaker is rated for, but the rules seem to be different for the way Jim has designed these cabs in conjunction with the power amp he's using. Just curiosity, like I said.
