Bill Fitzmaurice Titan 39 subwoofers + power amp/eq/crossover. - $1050

Sign in to disble this ad
EDIT: splitting the package. Rack gear that is still available is in another thread here:

Carvin dcm1000 power amp $175+SH, peavey crossover $60+SH.

Here is the info on the Subwoofers.

These are Bill Fitzmaurice Design cabinets you can read about them here: http://billfitzmaurice.com/T39.html
These are folded horn subwoofers. They measure 39" tall x 20" wide x 20" deep and weigh about 70 lbs each.

200W power handling each (doesn't sound like much I know, but you don't need anymore) 8ohms. Speakon and 1/4 inch jacks.

I have a pair of 20" wide T39 that I built a couple of years ago. Eminence BP102 loaded. Casters on the bottom, hand holes, recessed 3/4 of an inch on the front for mounting a grill (which I did not do) I used them once at a local festival and my band has stopped doing big gigs anymore so they have been in a storage shed since then. They sound GREAT! No surprise since it is Bills design, but I was blown away at how good it sounded. This was my first BFM build so there are a few imperfections. The lid in particular came out kind of funky so a 1/4 ply lid got added to the lid.

Using these as subs it is suggested that you use a limiter and crossover I will be looking at installing a passive crossover in them soon. I have used these as an extension cabinet for bass run full range and it is AWESOME! I had some freinds use it at a show and they said the bass was everywhere on the stage. Not muddy or booming just everywhere. I am build some Jacks right now and hope to get them done before I sell these to try them as a bass stack!!

I ran one of these up against a Mackie 15" powered sub and watt for watt the Titan smoked the mackie. The mackie cost almost a $1000 used and that was just one of these subs. You will not find better subs for the same money I gaurantee it. You can build a pair for a bit less than this but not that much.

I am looking to get $400 each for these. That is a little over materials costs. I can ship these for about $150 each.

I am selling these because we are not using them right now and my big brother ended up in some trouble and needs help with the lawyer fees.

Thanks for looking

Pictures and bump.

Back from the dead with some photos

They aren't perfect but they are pretty good. I put some slide bars on the back for going up and down stairs. They are painted with painter's touch semi gloss black. The upside is they are cheap and easy to touch up. The detail in the front cavity is somewhat lacking because I had always intended on putting a grill on them. I am going to leave them as is unless the buyer wants me to put a grill on. I might add a handle in the front on the bottom for loading purposes. I have a big remodel job in my house that will take up the next couple weeks of spare time, so we'll see if I get to it. I built these for me so some of the nicer accessorizing just did not apply to my situation and thus did not get done.

Thanks for looking and let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks to my wife for the dynamic photos.

I am building a Jack 110 from BFM to go on top of these and it will be an epic bass rig.

Someone out there needs these bad boys.
