Bose L1 PAS with 2 subs

$1100 - Boston area pickup.

This is the first or "classic" series. It was lightly used in a church setting and it works perfectly and sounds great. We just don't use it anymore, and are playing for much smaller crowds. There is a lot of debate about whether this can be used for bass. In my opinion I only liked the sound of my acoustic through it-and for that it kills. All the nuances of the piezo are really transmitted by the bose stick. However, I have seen this used live by a guy in a blues band playing a Warwick and it sounded awesome. I could never get it to sound like that, but his sound was great. Not window shaking lows-but a good solid foundation for the blues. Here is a link to the band performing. the video sound quality sucks so you will have to take my word for it that it sounded good.

This is for local pickup only. I will drive within about an hour of Boston to meet/deliver, but I do not want to ship.

Best,
Mike

Nice unit. I saw Tony Levin with Stickmen playing at a small venue (Keegan Ales) near me with one of these. They were loud, but the Bose had no trouble at all, clear as a bell.

Sounds like a great show. The sound is definitely balanced and articulate, and the fact that it acts as mains and monitors simplifies everything.

I've played upright through our band's newer version with only one sub, and it sounded pretty damn good. I bet with two subs, this thing would be more than adequate for most clubs. Good price, too.
