Brand New Genz Benz XB3 4X10 bass speaker cabinet literally less than a month old. This is a brand new offering from Genz Benz, check out the PRESS RELEASE.

This cabinet is brand new, with casters and all assoc hardware. Comes in the original shipping box with the original manufacturers warranty card. Local sale preferred, but can drive to meet, or arrange shipping.

This cabinet is VERY loud (altho not HS410 level loud) and reminds me a great deal of the EBS proline 410. Its as deep and fat as the Aguilar GS410, but slightly more subdued in the hi-mids, with GOBS of low end extension. This cab also projects really well and sounds very "live" from 30 ft away. Its a pretty "deep" cabinet but doesnt go as far as some ofthe Epifani's.

The XB3 series is designed around more traditional cabinet principals, delivering the tone and feel that has been the baseline of bass enclosures for many years. The tight orientation of the speaker components on the baffle board is calculated to produce focused and tight low frequency punch, wide midrange girth and clear projection, along with a smooth top end.

The XB3 series includes our newly calculated shelf-porting system and slimmer cabinet designs for a more sleek and responsive enclosure. All models utilize our custom designed crossover providing Speakon and 1/4" inputs along with a fully variable tweeter level control for ultimate flexibility.

This ported 4 x 10” cabinet is the most popular design in the series and produces dynamic response for a single enclosure. The tone is tight and focused with organic midrange clarity. The compression tweeter adds the right blend of high frequency snap without being harsh. Edge-lift handles and removable casters are provided for ease of transporting. This is available as a 4 ohm cabinet only.

I'm swapping this out in order to facilitate an XB3 810 or possibly the UBER810... (everything goes into live-in road cases anyway so a savings of 20-30lbs here or there doesnt really make much difference)

Retail price for the cabinet is $1,129.99, street price is $899 if you can find them, as full US distribution doesn't start until end of March 2010.

OK so this cabinet has sold no less than three times with each buyer backing out as soon as payment was due, with double that number of interested parties who wont drive to meet or pay shipping.

Any TBers who actually have the money to buy this cab, and are interested in doing so.... please feel free to make me any reasonable offer! I will drive to deliver or meet pretty much anywhere in NY, MA, VT, ME, PA, NJ etc..I wont deliver to Manhattan due to the costs associated with just getting into the city.... but I'll meet you at the far end of the GWB or Tappan Zee no problem!
