Bugera 1960 Plexi style all-tube head

OK, this is sold by Bugera as a guitar amp, but it's a simple, beautifully musical sounding bass amp too. And that's how I've always used it.

100 watts rms (150 watts peak) courtesy of 4 x EL34B power tubes. Three 12AX7 tubes for the preamp and phase inverter.

Typical plexi-style controls...a Volume for the bright channel, a Volume for the normal channel, shared Bass, Middle, Treble and Presence controls. It does have an effects loop with a hard bypass switch on the back. The level is switchable for pedal or rack level effects.

The impedance selector switch allows you to use 4, 8 or 16 ohm cabinets with the amp.

Each channel as two input jacks allowing you to bridge the channels with a short instrument cable. Let the Normal channel do most of the work and add a hint of high end bite with the Bright channel.

In like-new condition. It's never left my home, has perhaps 10 hours of use and was protected from dust when not in use.

Ships in the original box with all of the documentation and the power cable (and hang tag).

$299 shipped (and insured) in the Continental US.

Don't sell it. Ijust put an MXR 10 band eq in the effects loop of mine & the eq worked great at fine tuning the sound for bass. I did more cuts than boosting of eq & I haven't been happier with my tone in a long time..
