Here is a great sounding cab that has just proved to be a bit too much volume and weight for my Country band. I need to downsize to a 4x10. It's been babied, and has no tears in the skin. The sound is thunderous, but smooths out to a nice vintage warmth with the horn switched off. Here's your chance to get a great cabinet, for a great price.

I've got a VB2 and a selection of basses that you can try it out with, or you can bring your own gear. I will deliver to just about anywhere in the Chicagoland area for a serious buyer. Feel free to ask any questions about the cab, it's use, etc.

Interested, but why is that upperleft woofer different? Was it replaced? If so, what driver is it?

Opened up the cab tonight. The mystery small-cone speaker is a Carvin PS10.

But here's where the plot thickens.... the speakers to the right and below are also marked as PS10, but they appear to be a bit older and upon close inspection, the 7 larger cone woofers appear to be slightly more dusty. I'll call Carvin on Monday, but it seems likely that a speaker was replaced at some point in this cab after Carvin had changed their speaker design and/or supplier.

Thanks for the offer's guys but I've already got a "small" rig in the form of a portabass, and my new Avatar b410NEO should be here tomorrow. I mostly need the cash, but could be tempted by a T series peavey, or a set of Darkstars.
