Carvin B1500 amp and 8x10 cab for sale - both mint

I have a killer bass rig for sale. The head is a Carvin B1500, I purchased one of the very last ones manufactured about 2 years ago. It has been lightly used and is in mint condition. It's mounted in an SKB X-Rack, the shallow model that fits it like a glove. I also have the dedicated FS22 footswitch for it, allows you to mute and control the effects loop remotely. I even have the manual for it.

The cab is a Carvin BR810 that I purchased new just a few months ago. I've been playing with bands doing big venues and outdoor shows and I wanted a cab that could deliver huge low end and volume without PA support. This one does that with ease. The gigs have not quite worked out though so it's just more than I need. The cab has been out of my house twice and looks just like the day I bought it. It's 4 ohms, rated for 1200 watts (perfect match for the B1500), has a titanium tweeter with trim control, large handles and wheels, and since it weighs 50 pounds less than an Ampeg 810 it's surprisingly easy to move (weight is 118 pounds). The sound is simply huge...massive bottom, punch, and clarity. You can get that crushing Ampeg tone without the crushing weight!

Specs from Carvin's website: Carvin.com :: BR810

I will sell the two together for $700. I know someone will ask about selling separately and I will do that, but only if the cab sells first. The B1500 is the only standalone head I have so I won't have any need for the cab without that. (I can always use the head and I'm probably nuts to sell it, but I want to downsize all my gear) Prices for individual pieces are: Cab: $350 - Head, rack, & footswitch: $450

The cab has to be a SoCal transaction, don't want to deal with shipping.

I'm open to trade ideas too. Looking to downsize so if you have something small but powerful enough to gig let's talk.

More info on the B1500:

If you know bass gear you know this head is legendary for it's massive power and tone. Since it's stable down to 2 ohms it will drive any cab or combination of cabs you can imagine. This is NOT a wimpy class D amp, it has the big ass transformer and heavy gauge steel chassis...built to work hard and last. Power output is 700 watts at 8 ohms, 1250 watts at 4 ohms, and a staggering 1900 watts at the 2 ohm minimum load. EQ is dead simple and very effective, makes it easy to dial in your sound quickly. This amp is a full featured pro unit, with DI, mute switch, effects loop, active or passive input, Speakon or 1/4" speaker jacks. Look this beast up...you will find boatloads of rave reviews.
