Carvin B1500..you know this one!

I have a Carvin B1500 for sale. You guys know this amp. Absolutely butt kicking power and tone. This is the absolute finest amp out there for this kind of money. Check the review threads here at TB, and you'll find MANY really well respected talkbasses raving over this one.

Here are the specs from Carvin:

There's a new "King-of-the-Road"! The B1500 "mono block" bass head is "king" of all other bass amps offering extreme power. No other bass amp offers the tone and headroom! The B1500 delivers 700w at 8 ohms, 1250w at 4 ohms and 1900w at 2 ohms. Extraordinarily harmonic, rich tone shaping from 4 discrete class A gain stages straight from the input jack. Besides the B1500 boutique signature flat response, we equipped it with 6 tone controls. Starting with the SUB BASS at 50Hz, BASS at 100Hz, 3 MID frequency controls at 300, 1K and 3KHz, and TREBLE for ultra highs at 10Khz. The B1500 head also features front panel and foot switchable MUTE and EFFECTS LOOP switches. The MUTE feature allows tuning and changing of basses, while leaving the tuner/headphones jack active. The EFFECTS LOOP switch allows easy bypassing of effects for the purest of straight forward bass tone. If you need huge tone and power, then the B1500 head is for you!

This amp does not include the rack case or power conditioner pictured, but if you'd like either or both items, we can definitely deal.

$475 plus shipping.

It's been racked since I had it. I'm sure there are some scratches, as it has been gigged quite a bit, but it's in good shape.

Thanks everyone for all the trade offers, but I need to raise some cash.

Just a free bump. This head is a monster, and a great deal at this price. I've been gigging one steadily for some time now around Nashville and the southeast. It's just a great head, with the perfect amount of eq options, and great but simple tweakability of the tone through the interaction of the drive and volume. More headroom than almost anyone will ever need, rock solid all the way to 2 ohms, and equally happy playing a small room with my BRX10.2 Neo 210 cab or blasting a gig so loud I am in pain even with earplugs. And I'm not sure which case the seller has, but if you put it in a shallow Gator 3 space rack like I use, or one of the other shallow racks out there, it's a very manageable load, and that's coming from someone who switched from Genz Benz NeoPak and Shuttle ultralight gear to this beast.

Someone snap it up!

Cheers,
Liam
