SOLD!
I just got this a few months back when they still had a few left, and as fantastic of a deal as it was, I just haven't been using it.
These are especially cool because they go down to 2 ohms, so they can drive tons of different speaker configs. They are also not heavy at all, and extremely easy to carry by the handle, and even have feet on the side as you can see so they can be set down like a suitcase. Tone for days... major unsung heroes on these!
I still have the original box, etc, and have rarely used it at all... it's literally in brand new condition, because essentially, it is.
I've got about $400 in this, have barely touched it, and would blow this out for $350 SHIPPED/48, and of course including paypal. No muss, no fuss, brand new B800 on your doorstep for 350. Done.
Initial pic, more if needed, but it does not have a single mark on it anywhere...

While these amps aren't up on the Carvin website anymore, the manual/specs are still there... just confusing 'cause this head and the combos shared the same manual, and the name on the manual doesn't say b800.
Anyway, it's all here: http://www.carvin.com/manuals/brx212.pdf
One blurb from that:
Frequency Response 20 Hz to 20kHz
8ohms 300W
4ohms 500W
2ohms 800W (YEAH, BABY!) |

Also, just for you guys sitting on the fence on this, I know of a TBer who just got one of these within the last few days. He likes it alot and says he loves how loud and full sounding it is. If he wants to make himself known, I'll leave that up to him.
Its a great amp. If I could go back in time to the point where I decided to buy my B800, I would do so again in a heartbeat. |
