Compared to my old 700RB-II, I'd say that set 'flat' it's a little more articulate, and a little less in the deep bass. However, there's really a lot of EQ so you can make it sound like a lot of different stuff. It's a really good sounding amp. I just don't need it anymore and need to fund other things.
