I need to sell my BX500... too many amps and way too much debt!
This one is about a year old, it's been gigged about twice a month since I bought it, always babied and never abused so it looks like brand new.
This thing sounds great and works perfectly.
This amp has been rock solid, never an issue of any kind. In the interest of absolute total disclosure, as some BP'ers have noticed, in some rooms it will make a tiny "sizzling" sound through the speaker while idling. You can't hear it at all unless it's really quiet in the room and you turn the volume all the way up. It doesn't affect the sound quality at all. In
most rooms it's dead quiet, so it's apparently something to do with room wiring.
Amp will ship in the original box, and I also have the rackmount plate and carrying bag Carvin makes for it, the bag is really cool, you can sling the amp over your shoulder and carry it hands-free.
Amp and accessories go for $450 new, I'm asking $325 including Fed Ex shipping within the USA.
