I bought this 10" combo cabinet soley for use with my electric upright bass and I can't tame the highs enough for it to be useable with my WAV4 electric upright. For bass guitar, it works fine, but something about the polar piezo pickup in the upright just doesn't mesh with the MB10.
I say NIB ("new in box") because I've only had it out of the box since last week, and turned on for a total of about 15 minutes at a recent gig before plugging back into my Schroeder 122 bmf. It will arrive to you as new.
I really like it for bass guitar, but not enough to replace my walkabout and I can't justify having 2 small combo amps. I'm not sure what else to say, you can read the specs:
- Power: 200W @ 8 ohms, 250W @ 4 ohms (w/ 8 ohm extension speaker)
- 10" woofer
- Convienent top-mounted panel
- Neodymium titanium tweeter
- Outputs: Direct XLR out, phones/tuner, 1/4" external speaker
- Controls: Drive, Contour, Bass, Treble, Master Volume
- Seperate DI level
- Built-in compressor
- Dual parametric EQ

- Dimensions: 12.75" wide X 11.5" deep X 18.5" high

And more:
"The MB10 Micro Bass is one astonishing micro bass amp that really delivers the punch and tone for bass guitar. You'll be surprised at how much volume and deep tone this 10-inch this system delivers. The MB10 produces 250w of clean RMS power, capable of out-performing anything in its class. The Neodymium titanium tweeter adds to the upper harmonics to enhance the overall sound. The micro size is only 12.75" wide x 11.5" deep x 18.5" high and is a lightweight 23 lbs. Any professional will be delighted with the MB10's light weight, power and tone. Micro Bass Features
The internal BX head delivers 250w RMS at 4 ohms (with 8 ohms extension speaker) and 200w RMS into each of the 8 ohm Micro Bass models. The Class D power amp is 94% efficient delivering not only its full RMS but doing it very efficiently taking less AC power from the wall. Typical THD is less than .1% for ultra low distortion keeping your bass clean and the tone pure in every respect. See the BX500 for more details. The BX pre-amp is the state-of the-art with a Drive knob to control the harmonic content (clean to clipping) and dual Parametric EQ to select all the sweet tones of your bass. The Contour, Bass and Treble controls deliver deep bass and brilliant highs. Includes Active and Mute switches. The pre amp Direct Out XLR is pre or post selectable for the house PA or recording and includes a ground lift and Level control. The Master level controls the speakers while the DI level controls the pre-amp output including the Phone/Tuner. The tweeter features a DIM switch to control the brightness of your sound. Poplar plywood enclosures covered with optional Tolex colors."
Mine is the plain black covering, but looks great. As much as I'd love to keep it for a practice amp, I've just got too many amps and cabs right now and a small house project to take care of. You won't be disaapointed (unless of course you plan on using it for your WAV4 electric upright bass!)
$329 includes CONUS shipping. Carvin will charge you $40 and mine is guaranteed not to be DOA - everything, all switches and control knobs work as they should.
I don't have pictures yet of my actual MB10, but I've put pics here that are identical to mine. Sorry, no cover and Carvin doesn't make one - I asked. At 26#, it's a cinch to haul anywhere.
