A solid amp at a reasonable price. I'm looking to sell it off in order to look for an entirely different rig--one with a lower-wattage QSC, perhaps. No reason for the switch aside from wanting to try a few of the budget power amps before I drop 500-600 dollars on a big 'un.
This is cosmetically, a bit scratched, but hopefully it'll live in a rack (like mine did). It's an incredible amp, I've experienced only one minor problem with it--overheating at high volumes in a poorly ventilated area. This was solved by not playing at high volumes in a poorly ventilated area (
), a rule most amps i've come across should follow. Nothing blew, the amp was only used for a short period, and the rest of the gig went fine once levels were adjusted. It's definitely powerful and consistent, and never once has the "protect" light come on.
