........
I've decided to keep this head. It's just too good to sell. I know I would regret it. I'll list the cabs in a seperate thread in the next few days....................
As usual, I was overly-optimistic of my bass needs. Or maybe I am just addicted to equipment, and have a good enough job to feed my habit. Either way, I find myself with this incredible rig, and no real need for it (I have two other rigs).
The Titan head was purchased on April 21st of this year, so there are 4 years and 8 months left on the transferable warranty. The amp has approximately 3 hours of use on it, and it hasn't left my house. It is in pristine condition. The Titan V12 is the flagship model of the MESA bass line. The quality of workmanship and feature set are top notch. There is no way I'm going to try to list all of the features here, so I will just link you to the
Titan page on the MESA website. The excellent footswitch is included.
The cabs were new in April of 2008. They are the most recent model with the mutiple crossover switching (players network) and adjustable HF driver pad. They are in 9.9/ 10 condition. I have added heavy-duty lockable casters to one of them. They come with the MESA covers. They have MESA-designed Neo drivers and sound great. The two 1x12-plus-tweeter cabs should be able to handle almost any gig.
Here is the MESA webpage describing them. They are 8-ohm cabs. The head puts out 1200 watts into the combined load, so headroom is not an issue.
The rack tuner is the very good Fender RT1000. It tracks well and has all the right features, including front and rear inputs. I find the lights a little annoying, since the blue LED chases back and forth when the unit is on, but not receiving a signal. You might like it.
The Rack is a Roadie-brand 4-space. It has some minor scratches, but no major defects. It's a nice rack.
The cables are high-quality 3' cables with Nuetrik Speakon ends.
This rig is remarkably lightweight given it's capabilities. The cabs weigh in the mid 40's. The head only weighs 28 lbs. out of the case, making it very manageable.
I know it is unlikely that I will find someone in need of a full rig, but I'm going to start by offering this rig as a package deal, including head, tuner, footswitch, cables, rack, cabs, covers, shipping, and insurance. The rig would cost over $3000 new. You can have the whole thing for
(DECIDED TO KEEP IT) including shipping and insurance in the continental U.S. I don't think I want to eat the PayPal fees at this price, so let's say Money Order or other secure form of payment for now.
I used the original boxes to ship other equipment (I told you I'm addicted), but the items will be incredibly well-packed and shipped promptly.
Check out my feedback. PM or post questions. Bumps are appreciated- especially those with nice comments ;-)
