Crate BX15 practice amp - free to a GOOD home!

I've been the beneficiary of some good fortune lately and would like to pass it on. If you know some kid you think deserves this amp and don't mind covering the shipping costs, I'll let it go for nothing. Please PM me why you think you or someone you know deserves this amp. Don't tell me you're a broke college kid because there are many a lot worse off.

Everything functions 100%. 1x8" speaker, 15 watts, headphone output. It's been a trusty little practice amp for many years and doesn't sound half bad for low bedroom levels. Real light and has a small footprint. The front grill and handle are MIA (missing in action, not made in America LOL). I think they're out in the garage but no guarantees.

I'm actually a little embarassed, but this would be a big step up from the old Marantz home stereo I play my bass through now.

I do know of a young local kid (Northern KY area) looking for a small practice amp. Great kid, great attitude, already a fine musician. Not sure of the specs on the BX15 though.
Right now he has about a 10 watt practice with a 8 or 10" speaker, but needs just a little larger.
Any basic specs on this?

The Crate is just a little 15 watt, 8" combo, bass, lo mid, hi mid, and treble for EQ'ing (not very versatile but it is what it is

), a headphone out and a "speaker" output in case you ever wanted to hook it up to the 8x10! LOL
