Crown MacroTech 600

Used Crown PA amp. Classic old lead sled, and one of the most versatile amps ever made. Will push anything from a 1-16 ohm load (which means up to 8 standard 8 ohm speakers, or 16 wired for 16ohm!) and will run stereo, bridged mono, and parallel mono. Use it to drive a PA system or just play your instrument really freaking loud. Bought it as part of my bass rig, my wife and neighbors do not like when I play it. Since I'm primarily a bedroom player I just don't need this kind of power, and I have neither the room, the money, nor the need to own (let alone drive) 8 cabs at once.

Unit is professional gear, and it's obviously been gigged over the years. Rear rack mounting ears are bent, some minor surface rust on the case. But it works perfectly, and you'll love the way it sounds. Was taken apart and cleaned by a licensed electrician (me), then thoroughly inspected by a qualified amp tech after I plugged a ribbon cable in wrong and screwed it up lol. Great as a pre-power bass rig, or for your bands PA system. Here's a link to the manual.

Price is $250 shipped obo. Also happy to trade or trade with cash on my end for a Yamaha P-series, Crown XTI or XLS, Peavey IPR, powered mixer etc. I'd love to do a local deal so I don't have to worry about shipping, but either way. I live in Bothell, work in Seattle, and goto Renton and Bellevue almost every weekend.

"I feel like a moron" price reduction to $225 shipped. Unit is in good working order and has now been inspected by a qualified amp tech (after I plugged a ribbon cable in wrong and freaked out thinking it was broken).
