Arrow Dr. Bass 1x12 1 sp. airhead FS/FT?

Sign in to disble this ad
Hello All,

I am letting go of my Dr. Bass 1x12" bass cab. 8 ohms, about 250 watts...

I got this used here on Talkbass. I have used it a bit. Allright, it looks pretty ugly! The corner protectors are scuffed up, the Dr. Bass nameplate is gone...the next owner should know that this cab had a speaker cable coming out of the back, presumably to plug directly into a one rack space amp. The hole for the cable is still there (see pictures). I routed out a space in the back and added an old jackplate to which I added a Speakon jack. Not original, far from perfect, yet perfectly functional. I was told the speaker is some kind of Eminence model. It has the silver style dust cap with a fine wire mesh over that. This cab also has a tilt-back feature built in.

For sale for $ 185. shipped via FedEx Ground in the 48 states. There's nothing I need to trade for; still, who knows? Try me. Thanks, Ronald

One thing I highly recommend to people selling amps like this: Pop the jack plate off and post a snap of the back of the driver so people can figure out what it is. Buying a custom cab and not knowing what's in it is a dubious proposition.

Ask and ye shall receive:

Definitely looks like an Eminence Neo to me. Please let me know if you have questions or need more pictures. Thanks, Ronald

Definitely 8 ohm, thanks for asking. Not sure about the power rating, sorry. I typically used it with a 150 watt amp and never had any issues. Thanks, Ronald

Well, Ron, from my perspective you have two things: A unique and very cool cabinet with a lot of potential, and exquisitely bad timing.

I'd hate to see this end up being bayed at, but I'm not the one to prevent it. Somebody is going to end up with a gem, one way or t'other.

Btw, it looks like an MB-2-500 would work great in here with the rack kit.
