Dr. Bass 2460 w/ Beyma upgrade

I took this off the market, but our two week notice was ended early...apparently, education is not the safest career to be in.

This is a Dr. Bass 2460 (2x12, 6" mid, compression horn) upgraded with Beyma drivers (a $280 upgrade). The cab was damaged slightly in shipping and Marc offered to build a new one. THe customer service is supreme. He sent out fresh corners to replace the broken ones and offered advice to seal the ding.

Am I correct in assuming the upgraded speakers are Beyma SM-series drivers rather than Beyma G40s ?

Have you had a chance to compare this cab with a DR Bass 1580? If so, how would you describe the difference?

I haven't, but shoot Marc an email and I'm sure he could tell you distinct differences. I'm guessing the 2460 w/ Beymas would have a stronger mid presence.
