Dr.Bass BL-1260 FS

I'm trying to reduce the pile of equipment, and have my excellent 2004 Dr.Bass BL-1260 for sale. Solidly built out of 3/4" baltic birch, it features a handwired 3-way crossover with freq control, 1/4" AND speakon connectors (two of each), an Eminence Delta LF 12" speaker, 6" midrange and horn. Rated for 500W @ 8 ohms. Exterior finish is Dr.Bass's truck bed-type coating. Extremely durable, high performance cab with many fans here on TB. Ask around, you won't find a better cabinet for the money.

$350 plus actual insured shipping. Check or M.O. Maybe paypal, depending. I will try to work with you if you want to pick it up. Otherwise, shipping weight is approx 53# and I prefer using DHL or Fedex.

This one was mine previously, and I got it from Scotius. It's in great shape and has both a new crossover board (2006) from Dr.Bass, and improved cab dampening material, courtesy of Larry.

Larry's a stand-up guy and this is a good price.

(sniff! ) Great little cab!

Thanks for the kind words, Michael.

I found this cab to be full, flat and articulate. I have paired it with several amps and thought it more than equal to every one, although admittedly I have not pushed it very hard (home studio use only).

I ran it once pretty hard just to see if I could make it sweat.

It got louder than I could tolerate in my studio room but remained clear, even on the lowest notes.

I was impressed. There was quite a bit of headroom left on the amp.

Flat is the impression you get. It doesn't seem to have noticeable bumps anywhere in the response.

Larry, I'm slowly talking myself into it.. I really liked that cabinet but decided to sell it when I came across the Bag Ends. Let's jaw some more..
