EA iAmp 800 (in Canada)...

Sign in to disble this ad
I'm selling this great head. It's the version with the Sabine tuner. The output section has been upgraded to the current specs (low-noise) by EA themselves. It's in excellent shape, comes with EA padded case, rack ears, power cable & Speakon-1/4" speaker cable.

$700 shipped (price dropped) to Canada or the lower 48 ConUS.

Here's a link to more information and zoomable photos:

Can you explain about the "preamp upgrade" you're talking about? Any idea what exactly got upgraded?

I made a mistake. I dug up the original email from Gary @ EA and he said the output section was upgraded (not the preamp section as I'd originally posted). I corrected my original post.

What the upgrade entailed exactly, I don't know...but I've owned both a newer iAmp (Combo) without the tuner and this one, and other than having to turn the gain on this one about 3 notches higher than the newer model (same instrument), I can't say I notice a difference.

Re: output section upgrade...

Here's the info from the email sent to me by Gary @ EA:
