Snagged this beast locally off of Craigslist one day, turned out the original drivers were blown. Messed around with some 8" Eminence woofers I got from Don at LowDown Sound but it was not what I would call a successful venture. SB48 is the model. The two 8's drivers are pointed in at each other at an angle. It's 20 deep 22 wide and 12 high. I still have the 8's Don sold me. Those are available as well for $65 both.
The empty cabinet is yours for $50 plus shipping. Probably weighs 40 lbs unloaded. The internal bracing and porting adds to the mass for sure. I even considered cutting the box down and making a new baffle board for it, but at this point I'll cut my losses and let someone else have some fun with it.
