Head: 575.00 shipped (firm)
This is a quality amp in great condition and I'm selling due to health issues. This is late 2007 “B” stock but the price is right in line with that and I have had no issues with it. I use it with a Epifani cab and it sounds great! I've only bought here at TB but my ebay handle is mp4346 if you want to see my seller rating. I only sell my personally owned things and have 100% rating. Paypal only- sold and shipped continental US only.

From Eden.com - “You’ll find the WT550 Traveler to be unsurpassed in the market for its compact size. The WT550 Traveler, is a hybrid tube design rated at 750 watts at 2Ω with a minimum of 3dB of headroom. Standard features include: low noise compact design, -12dB input pad, switchable automatic compression, five-way semi-parametric tone control, mono pre and stereo post tone control effects loops, stereo aux inputs, DI out with ground lift, headphone out, tuner out, and a thermostatically controlled fan”

WT550 Specs
Power 8Ω/4Ω/2Ω : 300/500/750W RMS
Distortion: <.05%
Frequency Response: 10Hz - 15KHz ±2dB
Headroom: 3db
Dimensions: 12"W x 3.5"H x 12"D

If your health issues have to do with the amp's weight, I've got a 4 pound Markbass F1 that is looking for a trade deal. Interested?

Thanks but no. The Eden weighs 20lbs so it's pretty light and I bought it based on all the positive reviews here at TB. With a back fusion, it's more of a standing/sitting problem. Getting a groove on upright is one thing: getting a groove on laying down is another!

I'd like to buy it, but can you please clarify what you mean by "B" stock...what is that exactly? Where did you purchase this?

Thanks

Sure. The original owner put it up on craigslist, but by the time I contacted him he had just traded it in at Space Music in Miami, and so I contacted them and bought it. As for "B" stock, there are a lot of threads on folks who called Eden and were told "B" means returned for any reason and resold as "B" because it is technically not brand new but is sold with the same warranty. I think "refurb" would be what they mean so it has had a second going over for bench-testing and any needed repairs.

I found this from the forum moderator at the Eden website who it appears from the "we" comment, works for Eden.

"3. Now... Factory B stock.

First off, jcadmus is correct that FACTORY B stock historically has a lower failure rate than brand new. Reason for this is that often the problem is due to infant mortality of some two cent part. Once a unit makes it through the first few days of operation, the chances of an early failure drop to almost zero. So... some little part fails, it gets fixed... no more problems.

Second... not all of these units are ones that needed repair. Some of them are sales samples. Some are tour loaners we decide to add to a B stock deal (see below). Some are picked up from dealers who refuse to pay their account. This happens with EVERY manufacturer on the planet. Store X orders 10 grand worth of stuff, pays their down payment (which is based on their credit rating), but then never pays another dime. After several months, it's time to send Guido and Tony Baggadonuts to pick up the stuff. Some of that stuff has never even been out of the box. Other stuff is shipping damage, which could be simply cosmetic.

In other words, there's a lot of different ways stuff becomes B stock.

Third, the reason you sometimes see a lot of B stock at a single outlet is because we have a tendency to do this all at once. A bunch piles up and we decide to get rid of it. So we go to one of the larger dealers and offer a better than normal deal so they'll take it all off our hands at once. And then of course, I (and others) start building the pile up again. LOL....

Anyway... I know they've been working on cleaning some stuff out... and figure this is probably part of that. As I hinted earlier, Glenn is neck deep in getting things together. So far, so good.

Thanks. Is there ANYTHING at all that's not "like new" condition? Any scratchy pots? Humming? Dents? Loose hardware?

Does this have rack ears?

Thanks-

It is a 2007 model so it has a couple tiny (less than 1cm) nicks on the edges. Other than that it is in excellent condition. It comes in original box with ears. Variable fan works perfectly. No loose hardware and all works as it should. I did not notice any scratchy pots and no abnormal humming. All amps have some amount of hum at upper volumes, but it produces no ground hum through the PA if that is what you mean by "humming". This is a super "clean" sounding amp.
