Great shape. This is the older style with a broader range of controls than the new one (what was Eden thinking on the new one by offering less tweaking?????). This one has the killer dual cone speaker (tweeter and woofer in cone). Local sale only at this time (Baltimore, MD or close by). $550 or best offer (the few places that have the older version like mine sell them for over $1100 new --> http://www.jimlaabs.com/scripts/prod...idproduct=3734 )!!!!!! Here is a picture of the same exact combo I have. Mine is in very good condition and fully functional.

I've seen WT-300 heads (prettty much the head that's in the combo) sell for damn near this money! Apparently the 10's in this cab are quite sought after and known for exceptional tone (the sound great to me).

Mine also has tilt-back castors and a flip-up handle which makes it exceptionally easy to tote around. Considering the new, lesser one (with less controls and made by US Music) is $1100 street, I'd say half of that is a steal! Here is a picure of the new version which is far less tweakable than mine!

| | | | debunk some myths First off, This is a great sounding combo. It's basically what I use but mine is separate amp and cab. I love it, and can make my Carvin sound really good.
FYI, the CXC300 amp isn't quite the same as a WT300. It doesn't have a tube, it hasa FET front end. They changed it for whatever reason-I don't know.
<rant on>
It always irks me when someone mentions "pre-US Music" though. Up until last August, they still made all of their stuff in Minnesota, and built it all by hand, and had the boards made in Minnesota, with components from Minnesota, made from silicon dug up from the beaches in Minnesota. All designed and thought out by David Nordschow himself and he is still doing it. Then they moved it all down to Mundelein IL, (including Dave) unpacked it and made it there. I don't think the people in Illinois are any less competent than those up here in MN. I can tell you that because I worked in Montrose last summer and had a good time getting to know Mr. Nordschow and his chief Rocket Scientist, Dave Grout. They are still doing most of the design, with some help from some of the best people in the business.
<rant off>
The combo cranks, I can't think of another one I'd want except for maybe a CXC-110 and the 1x10 extension speaker. Whoever get this is getting a rockin good deal. |

Typically when a company gets bought up (like SWR, Trace and Ampeg did by Fender, Gibson and LOUD Technologies), quality and customer service goes to hell. I'm glad to hear this is not the case with US Music.
And yes, it's one VERY fine combo!

I tell ya, it's REALLY easy to move around because of the built in, kick-back castors and extendible handle. Pretty much rolls like on one of those airport suitcases.

EDIT: It is that heavy when you weight 115 lbs
