Eden D112XLT Carvin Pro Bass 500

SOLD

So, I've got a couple things that I'm looking to get rid of.

First, prices:
Eden cab - $325
Carvin amp - $125 and I throw in a speaker cable
Pick them both up - $425

I prefer local for right now (Chicago area).

The cab is in GREAT shape. I've used it on and off for the past couple years. I'd love to keep it but I really have no use for it anymore.
400W
8Ohm
103db (LOUD)
Perfect shape

The amp is in great mechanical shape. Cosmetically, it's terrible. I got this thing in a trade several years ago. It is solid, heavy and loud. It looks like it was originally housed in a factory 3space rack. It now resides in a 6 space rack that is not so sturdy, but does a fine job sitting around (I was thinking about buying one of those $30 carpeted 3u racks but never got around to it).
250 watts per channel 4ohm each
500 watts bridged 8ohm (what I use)
effects loop
graphic EQ
parametric EQ
compression
balanced line out
footswitch plug in
effects loop

Let me know.
60085

If, after a couple weeks, this isn't selling, I'll think about shipping or driving more than 20 miles to meet you.

The amp actually doesn't look that bad. Here are some pictures of it in the rack.

The case is actually 6 space.. the amp occupying 3 spaces.

Yesterday I tested the knobs (I never turn them). There are some that are scratchy if you turn them quickly. I would think that a little cleaner would fix that problem.

Also, I'll start to think about shipping the amp. It weighs ~45lbs.. Dimensions packed will roughly be 12"x22"x14". Insured for $150. Coming from 60085.

Also, I'll drive to you (up to 30 miles).

http://www.carvinmuseum.com/decade/images/90-pb500.html (as my suspicion suggested, it was originally housed in a carpeted 3U rack).

Might you be interested in trading that cab for a classical guitar?
See link below.

interesting... I've owned several 112XLT's and they were all 250 watts, not 400????????

SWIFT713: Not really interested in a classical guitar right now. However, a midi keyboard, 4 channel mixer, compressor, envelope filter, nice tiny combo with headphone and xlr are some of the things that I might consider for trade.

BUFFORDBASS: Yeah, I don't know a lot about the 400W rating. That's what's marked on the cab from Eden.

A quick search turned:
http://www.talkbass.com/forum/archiv.../t-142829.html

Also, it looks like they do the same with sensitivity ratings as well (100 and 103db). Hmm...???
