Thanks, guys. I'm not interested in trades, just looking to move these heads out.

I need a new head for sure but have never played an Eden, could you describe the sound o the wt405 for me ? I'm looking for something really warm and tubey without actually getting another 100lb tube amp haha

Thanks

Well, the 405 is all SS, but has a Warm circuit which simulates tube grit in the preamp section. It's a clean amp until you engage that circuit, then it starts to sound (depending on the threshold adjustment) more like an overdriven tube circuit a la SVT.

Hey, I'm not buying, but couldn't resist piping up... the 405 has a wonderful tubelike warmth available and a bunch of other great tones besides. I like to recommend it for medium-sized gig purposes to anybody. An underappreciated Eden product, IMO.

Right now I'm all about tube heads, but wanna move out into the lighter category, with TC electronics around it's really hard to consider anything else, but I'm just afraid they will break easily so I'm seeing what else comes around.

So it's 400watts and it's very warm, it's it also rich a full sounding? And can it do anything in the way of breakup ?

There is a tiny trim screw to adjust the level of the Warm circuit. With it cranked you can get some breakup depending on how the gain is set and how much you dig in.

I can vouch for the great sound of the WT405--it was one of the best amps I've had so far! I should never had sold mine...

The WT800A and the 4U rack bag are sold.

The WT405 is still available, reduced to $450.

Bump for WT405 - you're not gonna find a better amp for this price, and it's flexible for playing all kinds of music.
