Beauty AND a beast. Hope Dr. Funk doesn't mind me using his original post. It is still perfect. Original box, footswitch, rack ears, etc. This is a beautiful amp! Looks and sounds great! $750 shipped in the 48 states. I don't really have anything in mind fora trade but let me know what you have.

EDEN WTB 1000 F/S pristine

No I don't mind at all. BTW I have a great WT1205 that I would trade.

Price reduced to $750 shipped in the 48. Anywhere else is on your dime. This is the lowest I will go. If it's worth less than that I will keep it. This really is a beautiful amp. Sounds tremendous, just too much amp for me.

Here is a pic of the head. Absolutely beautiful condition. I had my tech go over it and he touched up a few solder connections so it is actually better than new. $750 shipped in the 48 states.

i have the 400 watt version of this bass amp, the only amp ive ever used and got compliments on my sound with, these are good amplifers, and loud i can't see why i would ever need that much power but if i do one day ill for sure check this higher wattage version out.

How does this compare with the WT800? Looking at building my first "real" rig and was going to start with.a Eden WT800 or a SWR SM900.

But this seems like a good deal and haven't found any WT800s under 800 bucks. Thoughts?

Would must likely start by powering an Eden or SWR 4x10 then add a 1x15 or another 4x10

Here is a link in the Eden site with info on this head: Eden World Tour Bass Amplifiers - WTB1000
It has a lot of power and that great Eden sound. Like at 1205 power section and an 800 preamp plus a graphic EQ.
I am selling it because I am not using it. I have switched to a WTDI with a small super light power amp. For smaller gigs I am using a WTX500.

I'm still interested but also, still confused as to exactly how this is different from an WT800. Is it stereo? Does it have a tube preamp? I can't seem to find that info on the Eden website.

I think the main differences are in additionsl preamp flexibility, the foot switchable graphic eq. and the "Tube" knob from the WT405 (which I have never used). The output sections looks to be about the same as the WT800. And it looks really good in black!

Eden explains it better (hope I am allowed to do this):
Your requests have been answered with the addition of the all-new and more ominous WTB1000 bass head. Combining elements of several different Eden preamps, the new WTB1000 includes the footswitchable Tube control of the Navigator, our famed Enhance control, a semi-parametric EQ, as well as the Dynamic Boost function of the WT405. This is the first Eden amp to include a footswitchable graphic giving you the best of both worlds. Combine these features with the Stereo or Bridged mono power section of the WT800 and you have a high-powered amplifier to cover any style or and tone.
