Eminence Kappa Pro 15LF

Title says it all. Eminence Kappa Pro 15LF. They don't make this one anymore, and I don't like the change in voice structure of the the new LF-2s. I think that these kick way more booty! If you are looking to load a dedicated sub or low end cab, you can't beat these things. Serious big fat bottom! If I hadn't been forced to sell the cabs tuned for this (property taxes are a beeyotch!), I'd happily keep it as a back up.

This one is lightly used with only a few chips in the paint of the basket. Otherwise just tested at NY Speakerworks and certified in perfect working condition with no signs of coil wear, or roll-off.

Factory specs available all over the place, but here's the general info. Pics available if you must see the actual speaker.

Kappa Pro 15LF
Size: 15"
Impedance: 8ohms
Power Handling: 600w RMS, 1200w peak
Resonance: 35Hz
useable Frequency Range: 40Hz to 2kHz

$150 shipped (it's a bit heavy) or $110 if we can meet to do a deal. I'm in Syracuse NY and willing to drive a bit to save the shipping.

It tips in at a just a hair over a beefy 10k/22lbs according to the bathroom digital, so I'd take that with a slop factor of +/- 3 or 4ozs

That might be cost prohibitive to get to V.B.C., but I'd be willing to help a bit on shipping if it's something you really need. These are hard to find since the new ones were released, and I'd gladly help a fellow TBer out.

I'm not saying that to push a sale, I'm for realz. Selling this puppy won't change my life, but if it will change yours, we'll find a way to get it to ya.

Thanks brother. I'm considering getting a 115 combo from Carvin and if I do, your driver is definitely a strong candidate... in fact the only candidate.

Just to be clear, this is not a speaker for a one coil cab, this is definitely tuned to be the bottom end of a multi-driver system of some kind.

Unless of course your gig is a dub band!

Just a bump to say that this driver would be the one to put into one of the fEarful design cabs. Reviews are glowing.
