Epifani 410UL(II) 4ohm, 57 lb, cover, castors

Sign in to disble this ad
Let's try this as ST. LOUIS AREA PICKUP ONLY at this point. I hate shipping large cabs.

Epifani 410UL(II). 4ohm. Original II lightweight model (57 pounds) versus the newer, heavier models. Epifani padded cover, and Epifani 'plate' removable castors.

9.5/10... just a very small amount of carpeting fuzz in a few places.... virtually 'like new'.

$550... and I'll throw in an 'as new' SKB lightweight two space rack. I believe this is a VERY good deal! Just thinning the herd out a bit.

NO TRADES... ST. LOUIS AREA PICKUP ONLY at this point.

Here is a recent picture with my F1.

I'm assuming at this price, those in Chicago, Indianapolis, Louisville, Kansas City, etc. would also consider this cab. Pretty good deal, and probably worth a bit of a drive.

Hey kjung,

I'm a st. Louis area bassist. I don't have the cash at the moment but if you have the epifani in a couple weeks I'd love to give it a good home. How's the sound with the f1? I've got a LMII and I need something cleaner than my GK.

Great to see other st. Louis bassists on here! I should have joined this site years ago!

Thanks,
Austin

Hi Ken:

If it comes to the point where you decide to ship it, I'll take it.

However, I certinaly understand trying to avoid shipping. Good luck with the sale......

Thanks,

I'd through $50 at this if I can end up with the rack case for those who may not need / want it.

Epi 410UL-II

Ken, appreciate being in line if you decide to ship. Just sold my 8 ohm version of the 410 AND 210 UL-2 series....and acquired a 310UL series one, so I'm in a rebuilding phase looking for 4 ohm'ers this time. BTW. your comments about the Markbass line is spot on, recently tried a LM Tube and it's, eh. Will never sell my F1. How's it go? "Pry it from my cold dead fingers"? -Doug

I can come where you're digging. The UL310-S1 is a killer. I've gotten rid of my UL210 too. The LMtube800 sounded like poop with my Epi boxes, where the F1 sounded great. A good match up, especially with the UL310 and the UL112. I'd love to get a 4ohm UL410 just for those occasional times when just a little more is needed.

Yep the UL310 is a killer cab. I picked up a LM Tube (500) and it's nothing like the F1. Now I just need Ken to sell me this cab and my Epifani affliction will be full blown.

Hey Doug! Yeah, the F1 (and the F500) sound magnificent with this cab. That little extra tightness and low mid push of the F series really makes this cab sing to my ear. The F500 (basically the same thing as the F1 with a few more bells and whistles) is still my primary gigging head with virtually any cab I use.

PM sent. And, per the above, the F1 is a great match for this cab. Used that as my primary gigging rig for a couple of years. Big but still punchy, and with a beautiful top end.

How would the Genz Benz Streamliner match up with this cab?

Have not tried that. For me, it would be a bit 'too much of a good thing' most likely, since the Streamliner is fat and smooth and big sounding, just like the 410UL. However, pure personal taste there.

The most impressive thing about the 410UL is its ability to pump out real low end at loud volumes, and the very smooth mids with a significant upper mid dip make this cab sound very nice and 'hi fi' (meaning, big down low, dip in upper mids, hi fi crisp and clean up top). That just isn't my thing any more, but it is still a good thing!

I would guess if you run the Streamliner 'clean' and bump a bit at the 200hz lower midrange setting, it would sound very nice. If you are looking for growl and grit, another cab would probably be better for you.

KJung used to love this cab prior to the Bergs.
Thinning the herd of Epifanis... wow
Whoever buys this will have a fantastic cab that sound different than the Bergs. Different isn't worse!

I was planning on trying this cab out tomorrow, but I'm a little worried after hearing about the little mark sound... anyone tried a LMII with this cab?
