Epifani T 1x15 cabinet for sale

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi,
I'm selling a 1x15 epifani cabinet that I've had for a couple years. It's a great cabinet, and I recently bought a new car, & the 1x15 dosn't fit in the trunk of my Toyota Carolla, so I went the route or the 4x10, which isin't quite as deep as the 1x15.
Here's he specs:

-15 in. 300 Watt Proprietary Driver(8ohms)- Non Factory Driver- Eminence Legend
-1 in. Compression Tweeter
-17 Ply Baltic Birch Cabinet - dado joint construction
-High impact locking corners
-Steel recessed handles
-1/4 in. and Speakon inputs
-18 gauge radiused steel grill
-Frequency Response: 36Hz - 16 KHz
-Sensitivity: 97db 1W1M
-Dimensions (HxWxD): 21.5 x 23 x 18 in.
-Weight: 55 lbs

This is a series one cabinet w/ a replacement driver, this is not a UL cabinet.

At one time, I felt that the tweeter was a bit blown, so I went to the Epifani factory in Brooklyn & bought & installed a new tweeter Diaphram, & it works fine now. The cabinet is in great shape, no rips/tears in the carpet, & it plays great. This cabinet is an older series one Cabinet that's in Perfect shape, BUT, as I indicated above, it has a replacement driver. It is very similar to the "Performance Series" cabinets, which sells for $450 new. I'm asking $250 O.B.O. The purchaser would be responsible for any shipping costs if you didn't want to come pick it up. If you do want to come by & check it out, I live in the Bushwick area of Brooklyn, so please feel free to contact me via P.M. or by email:

It looks like that isn't the original speaker either(no epifani signature across the cone)...any idea what kind of speaker is installed and when it was put in? I'm interested.

interesting...

As far as I know it's original speaker,
I actually bought it used when it was about 1yr old from someone in Jersey. He had mentioned that he had brought it to Epifani & had them check it out before he sold it to me, saying that the factory gave it the o.k. I'm actually going to pull the cone & check that out, but I do own a U.L 1x12 that has a black cone, not writing, & I think that only the very first, really heavy Epifani Cones had the Epifani label in the center, but I'm not positive...

After some research....

Hi,
please be advised that the original post about this cabinet was wrong- I listed it as being all original equipment, but unfortunately, after pulling out the driver & checking it out, I realized that the original driver has been replaced w/ a 300 watt, 8 ohm "Eminence-Legend".
I just spoke to Mario @ the Epifani factory, and he confirmed that this is not the driver that they installed in the cabinet originally. The cabinet still sounds great, as I said in the original post/thread- I replaced the Tweeter Diaphram w/ original Epifani Equipment when I was there picking my UL 112 up. So, I would like to re-list this cab for $250 or best offer- The Epifani Factory advised me that this would be a fair price for the cabinet. I don't use it anymore, but it can definitely be a great cab for someone.
