Epifani UL-502 - $700

Sign in to disble this ad
I am selling my beloved Epifani UL-502 to fund a possible purchase of an old Ampeg fliptop. I really love this head and it is my favorite modern, SS head I have owned. You know the deal on these things: great tone, 2 channels, 600w at 4ohms. I love this thing, but my ear is taking me elsewhere.

It is in great condition, and I upgraded the feet(taller) so that it could sit atop a 112 with a top handle. It's a 9.5/10, 10/10 being brand new.

The head comes with an upgraded power cable, rack ears manual and ships in original Epifani box.

I am pricing it at $700+shipping OBO(PM offers)

No trades unless you have an Ampeg B-15 fliptop you'd like to part with.

Thanks for looking!
PM with any questions.

~B

I hope you can!

There were no issues with the feet, I just upgraded them because the top handle of my T-112 was too high to fit under the head without touching.

No issues whatsoever, it's in new condition!

How would you plug two 8Ohm cabs to achieve 4Ohms with just one speakon output?

Just daisy chain it, it's perfectly safe and it's the way I ran 2 8ohm 112 cabs.

You plug one cabinet into the speaker out of the head. Then you plug the other cabinet into the cabinet that the head is plugged into.

Very simple and common with a one output amplifier..

Bump for a great...great piece of equipment. I ran a 502 as my main amp for nearly four years. I wouldn't have sold mine if I didn't also have the 902C. The 502 offers great sound and tons of headroom. FYI/FWIW to OhulahanBass...I ran this head into two 8-ohm cabs as described above many times...absolutely no worries there.

All the best with the sale, and I predict many smiles from the cat who buys this one...

Sorry Braydensharrar, I've been trying to get a refund on a band new Eden Amp that broke less than two weeks after I bought it. I finally reached an agreement with the store and they are sending me a new one. No refund Looks like I wont have the money until I can flip the new replacement head.

I liked the Eden while it worked but I am on a tone quest and have lost a bit of trust Eden.

Good luck to you and the future happy buyer of this amp.

It's ok man. Too bad about the Eden though, I would definitely suggest selling it. I have never really liked their gear and I have heard that it's really going downhill for the price group they are in. I do know that I A/B'd this 502 up against my friends WT-550(it was even a nicer, older model) and it blew it right out of the water.

Good luck on your tone quest, it looks like mine is coming to a surprising "ending"(yeah, right. but I can hope).

Thanks again for the interest!

Man, now that is a funny coincidence.

I am really surprised this is still here, so maybe you will have the time to flip it and buy this 502.

I have a couple of offers that are a bit too low for me, I would really like to get $700(it's real worth IMO).

When is the WT-550 supposed to come in?

PM me.

Don't hold your breath. First Eden emails me a packing slip, then UPS picks it up and then the store sends me a new amp. then I have to flip it, could be weeks.

to be honest I don't trust the store's claim until I get the shipping tag email from Eden. I sent you a list of stuff i am willing to get rid of for a new amp plus what cash I have. Being that you've probably have been on a tone quest longer it most likely isn't anything you need...no worries, I'm not the only one who wants this amp.

Another bump.

I only have one offer on the table and it's very close to my current price. There are no more price drops, so get it now! That other offer is looking better each day and I am sick of looking at this great head boxed up ready to go, not being used.

PM me offers, but this head will be gone soon either way.

Incredible price!

I've been wanting one of these to go with my T-410 for a while, but I unfortunately won't have this kind of money for a few months.

Good luck with the sale!
