F/S: Acoustic Image SA - 800-watt power amp

SOLD.
There is no more convenient or reliable way to add big-time power to your rig than with the now-discontinued and rare Focus SA from Acoustic Image and this one is in like-new condition.

This USA-made gem provides 450 watts at 8 Ohms, 800 watts at 4 Ohms and is designed, manufactured and rated for 2-ohm operation (1,000 watts). It also features a combo input jack that accepts 1/4" or XLR, an input level control, twist-on (Neutrik) parallel output jacks (2) and switchable dual-voltage for international operation. Hook it up to your preamp or mixer. If you have an Acoustic Image Series III Focus or current Clarus+ integrated head, you can double your power and, with certain models, add stereo capability. It also essentially doubles the 8-Ohm and 4-Ohm power of the Genz-Benz Shuttle 9.0.

It comes with its own padded carrying case and the power cord. All this in a 3.5-lb. package with a footprint (6-3/4" x 9") smaller than a cigar box. Plus, you get the well-known customer service and reliability provided by Acoustic Image.

The MSRP on these was $899 new ($749 street). I will sell mine for $500 plus the cost of shipping and insurance to your destination. It will, of course, be well-packed.

Can this be rackmounted? If so, is it two spaces high or just one? Thanks

I have never seen a rackmount kit for the Focus SA. At 9" wide and 3.1" high, it is obviously narrower than a standard rackspace width (19") and less than 2 rackspaces high (1.75" each).
