I thought I'd list this here before I put it on ebay. I bought these new 10 years ago. I've used this set-up a couple of times at church events. Other than that, they've been stored at my home in the cases you see in the picture.

They are like new and work perfectly. I want to sell them as a set along with the foot switch for the DB680 and the cases you see here. I have the owner’s manuals and original boxes - which I can ship them in if preferred and you don't want the cases. I will let the set go for $3200 + shipping. Or, you can pick up in Las Vegas.

You can P.M. me or post any thoughts or questions.

Thanks for your interest!

jfenderp; Yes, yes it does kill. Don't try this at home. I'm a trained professional and have a license to do so.

Seriously, to my ears, it is THE ultimate bass sound. Dude, don't make me change my mind.

I'll probably give it another day or so here, and then pull it. I think I will up the price at that point.

You know, I thought about the investment aspect on keeping it in the closet another 10-20 years; thinking it might appreciate in value like a fine vintage Fender amp or instrument. But who knows the future? In the same vein, who anticipated back in the fifties and sixties how coveted (and pricey) an original Fender bass would be today? I could pass it along to my kids.... Again, I say

As of today, it's still up for sale. Thanks for the look. Let me know if you have any questions or would like to discuss...

"Amp of Awesomeness" it is my friend - and more.

Bring it. We could use the boost in the local economy. They don't call it "Lost Wages" for nothing....

Thank you, thank you very much.

Lost in the fray

Wow, there are a lot of items for sale in the classifieds. I know times are hard and everyone wants to unload equipment they're not using. I'm doing the same.

I'm not surprised high end gear like mine gets lost in the fray.

Having said that, today is the last day that I'll show these here. Along with this being what HaPpYfAcE referred to as "Amp of Awesomeness", (I love that - still makes me laugh ) they represent a piece of history and maybe a decent investment to a shrewd speculator. Maybe I won't put these on ebay after all.

Thank you all for your comments. It was a good exchange! Musicians are a funny herd, and bass players are....well....I think you know.

God Bless,

Mike

I sold my 680/728 two years ago and have regretted it every single day.
