FOR SALE - MY DR. BASS RIG NO TRADES PLEASE.
MUST BE LOCAL PICKUP - Bergen County, NJ $350.00 Dr. Bass DRB 1580 3-Way Cabinet plus Matching 3U "Airhead" Rack Case
* 15" Celestian BN15-400F
* 8" Eminence Alpha 8MR (Mid Range)
* Horn - Selenium Slot Tweeter Awesome cabinet, sounds fantastic, 500 watts at 4 Ohms. NO problems with the cab, I am just changing up what I play through. PICKUP ONLY - I'm located in Bergen County, NJ - 10 minutes from Giants Stadium.
Visit this link to see what the Doctor says about the stock version for a bit more on construction - click here - and it's the 4rd cabinet down. My speaker config is not stock (see above), but this will give you more insight on the cab.
Cabinet: 52 lbs.
Built as a "Slant" model - see the 1260 and 2060 above at the same link to see what I'm talking about - this is a great feature that helps greatly in live settings, b/c you do not need to have a stand or to tilt the amp back, the slant construction is the perfect angle - when you're 10 to 20 feet away, the sound is hitting you in the chest, so you hear it clearly.
Rack Case is 3 space, built to match cab - fits nicely with corners. Has full rails on the front, and rails on the top space in the rear (where I mount the power conditioner to save space). ** I will include the Saline RT-7000 Tuner (rack mountable) and the rack mounted power conditioner (with the longest power cord I've ever seen!) (Both can be seen in the photos below)
** NOTE ** GK MB2-500 Amp and Line 6 X2 Wireless are NOT for sale. About the cabinet & rack case themselves: "Dr. Bass products are hand crafted from only the finest materials available and then sprayed with an environmentally safe Pure Polyurea coating applied at 240 with a tensile strength of 3250 lbs. psi, making them the toughest cabs on the Market! No nasty "rat fur". This is the identical material which is used to coat the decks of submarines. This results in not only an extremely tough cabinet, but a surprisingly lightweight one as well. If your cabinet ever gets dirty, just wipe it off with a damp rag and it will look like new for years to come. The grilles are 18 gauge powder coated steel."

I am 15 minutes from Giants Stadium (or Jets Stadium, as my wife calls it).
I just saw a band playing outdoors in my town, and the bass player had a Dr. Bass 1x15 powered by what looked like a Boogie Big Block 750. It was so loud and so clear, even from 100 yards BEHIND the band. Very impressive!
If I don't bug you more about the cabinet, best of luck with the sale. |

| | Registered User | | Join Date: Oct 2007 Location: Bergen County, New Jersey | | | The sale perspective of this bass is changing. I am going to open it to shipping, which will change the price b/c it is available to a wider audience for sale. See OP for details.
Okay - this is not allowing me to edit the original post so new details are here...
Cabinet and rack case available for: $450.00 plus $50.00 shipping.
I am guaranteed to lose money on the shipping, but to you all out there, it's a win/win... a great cab for a great price!
Drop me a line.
