F/S: Epifani NYC-210 cabinet (4 ohm)

Sign in to disble this ad
For your consideration: a Brooklyn-made, 4-ohm Epifani NYC T-210 cabinet. I love this thing--it sounds great--but I don't use it enough to justify keeping it.

Details
: I bought this cab from Brian at The Low End about 10 months ago; aside from a few very minor carpet scuffs, it's in excellent shape. No smoke odor or cat hair, either.

Price: $400 plus shipping, which is $50 less than I payed for it. USPS money order or Paypal. CONUS only. No trades.

I'm willing to travel an hour or two from Nashville to meet my buyer.

Some pics:

Bump with more pics. The discoloration on the top of the cab is just dust. Free vacuuming with every purchase!

Hmm... I can't find the "NYC-210" on their site... Is it a Brooklyn-made UL cab or something else?

The NYC series preceded the UL and was discontinued a couple of years ago. (I believe the model is actually NYC T-210; I apologize for the confusion.) The NYC drivers use conventional magnets--the ULs' are neodymium--and, as the name suggests, they were made in Brooklyn.

Although I have no firsthand experience with the UL series cabs, I've read in a number of places--including here on TB--that the NYC cabs are "fuller" sounding. I'd imagine that's especially so with this one, since it's the 4 ohm model.

Sure: by my measurement, the cab is 23" wide, 18" high, and just under 18" deep. I don't have a scale handy, but would guesstimate that it weighs in the neighborhood of 60 lbs. It's not light, but it's also not particularly heavy for a cab with traditional magnets.

In the OP I neglected to mention that it's rated at 500 watts. Here's a pic of the rear plate, and, for scale, another of the cab with my LMII (also for sale) and my Fender CS '64 Jazz.

This cab kills. If it were 8 ohm, I'd be in trouble, as I want another one. I used mine for the last 7 weeks on the road. The love just gets deeper! This is a good deal, BTW.

Thinning the herd? I think you know me better than that, Anthony. Thanks for the kind words.

And an update: the cab is on hold pending payment. Thanks Colin!

Only downside is I'm gonna have to get a nice two ohm amplifier...
