SOLD... iAmp 800 w/built in Sabine tuner and rack ears. 800 watts @ 4 ohms, 1000 watts at 2 ohms. Everything works perfectly. All knobs, cords, plugs function and are original, except for two very small screws missing from the faceplate. Faceplate is still on tight. Some very minor rack rash, and a few light scratches on the ear handles. You can see them in the pics. iAmp 800 pictures by ckirkg - Photobucket

$485 plus actual shipping. I do have several hard cases available for an additional cost. Might consider partial trade for exc condition SM57s or Beta 52A kick drum mic. PayPal or money order.

I feel sorry for new amp manufacturers... How can they sell their new amps when EA iAmp 800's are going for less than $500?? These may not be ultralight, but they're more than reasonable in weight, and kick ass in the tonal capabilities department!

I'm interested. What is the rating at 8ohm? And how well does the tuner work?

I can't remember the rating at 8 ohms but I pushed an EA NM410 with one of these and it got plenty loud. Tuner worked good on mine too. The key to these amps is to really crank the pre gain to get these things "singing". Really good amps.

I think I'm going to bite. One thing, did this unit have the jack problems or need repair? I know there was a batch of this unit that had some minor issue with a defective part.

The iAmp pushes 500 watts at 8 ohms. I don't know if it had the repair done by a previous owner or not.

Cool! I'll pm you with the info. The tuner works great and is very handy on stage. Easy to see. And the previous poster is absolutely right. Crank the pregain ... trust the clipping lights and you'll really enjoy this amp.
