F/S or F/T Ampeg PR-1832....a monster!

Sign in to disble this ad
I have an Ampeg PR-1832 up for sale or trade. I have not owned this cabinet long, but it sounds HUGE. It will literally shake the pictures off our walls and I have only driven it with my Markbass LMIII! To be honest the overall asthetic condition is a 6/10, but the working condition seems perfect as far as I have pushed it. This cabinet was USED, if you are looking for one in perfect condition keep moving.
I came across this at a fairly good price and had dreams of going big again, but alas, the light weight stuff dragged me back in.
I am opening this up for a LOCAL deal only. I am willing to deliver up to 100 miles of Conway, Arkansas. I am looking for a smaller cabinet, such as a 112 or 210 or similar, but I am also open to just about anything else. I am posting the price at $375 and will deliver at that price. This is one of the heaviest cabinets that Ampeg made and is a monster. Way too heavy to ship, as a matter of fact it could only be shipped by a freight carrier.
Here is a bit of info I found on the cabinet. Ampeg worked with Victor Wooten on designing it.

A few pictures, I'll post others a bit later.

You know...for a small fee, I'd transport that thing a bit further south to open up the Shreveport / Monroe / Ruston market.

I'm open to trades on most everything. I no longer need it and it's in the way, so shoot me some offers.
