I am researching Genz Benz now and the reason why I am not going with the 9.0 head is because I thought you needed a bigger cabinet for it to drive, and there goes portability.
But you seem to be using it with the small cabs without any problem. Is that right?
Thanks

I guess it would be possible to push these cabs to hard with this head, but that is why you have a volume knob. I believe that you can hear when you are pushing cabs too hard. I think these cabs sound great when pushed with the 9.0. I cannot speak to it technically as to why, but I believe it has to do with putting enough power into the cabs and still having headroom on the amp. The amp is not being pushed hard at all....and maybe is operating in a sweet spot, I don't know....but it is a killer combination and I have had to issues.

You can hear if you are pushing too hard, just ease up. These cabs are great Shoot, I played my GBE 1200 through one of them and it was magnificient!!
Great guy to deal with too!! |

My NeoX212T cab absolutely pounds with my GBE1200... The GB 3U Carpeted Rack (EZ-SLV3) fits perfectly on top as well. BamaBass stated, it's all about moderation/smarts with the volume knob. I'd rather have plenty overhead, than not enough power.
Awesome guy too! Show him some love!

Let me know. I am leaving out of town tomorrow for 2 weeks, so I will not be able to ship out after tomorrow for 2 weeks.
