F/S F/T Phil Jones NEO 6 for OLD Henry cab

Okay TB'ers... here's a rare bird up for trade or sale. A Phil Jones Neo 6 cab. will handle 300W, I believe it is 6 (?)Ohm, and 46 lbs light, with pull up handle and casters. Its been gigged by not alot. Still in virtually new condition , just one little tear in the tolex on the bottom rear.

I've been using this with a iAmp500 for a few years, and its been super reliable, and no matter how much you push this cab it will not break up. I've never seen anything like it. Crytal Clear at every volume. Doublers dream as well. Spectacular for acoustic or electric. Been doing rock, jazz, dance, latin, you name it thru this and it truly relays the sound of your bass. Amazing punch for such a little cab.

I am moving up to a bigger cab for outdoor work, so I'm looking for and OLD SWR henry 8x8 cab. The kind with the black steel grating...not the chrome. The celestion one. I know the tweeters blow on those henry's but for the type of work I have coming, I need something that'll throw far outdoors.

If only this were an 8 ohm cab... How does it stand up in a single-cab rig? I have an 8 ohm 1x15, and I play mostly rock. Is it loud enough on its own to handle medium to large rooms? I'm really gassing for a PJB cab...

Cab ships from Central Jersey near Staten Island NY. Actually being a 6 ohm cab makes it a bit more efficient than an 8 ohm. I have never had an issue with loudness except in an outdoor venue like a field or large open grass area. In any indoor gig its as loud as you can take, and like I said, it has never distorted or broken up no matter how much I push the head. Its really strange to have a rig that has no distortion point. never had one like that before. I've only used it as a standalone cab, and I too am a rock player. Reason I'm picking up a Henry is I have a whole summer of sunday outdoor gigs , and I need something that moves a ton of air..thus the Henry. But indoor, its fine. Plenty loud, clear, and present. Amazing amount of bass for such a small cab.

PM me if your interested. i'm picking up the Henry tomorrow and the wife wants the cash I'm taking replaced before the mortgage is Due Aug 1st...so , I need to move this Neo6.
