I bought this preamp brand new and have used it for about an hour - the GK sound isn't really what I was looking for. The preamp is only about 6 weeks old and the warranty registration was never sent in (you can send it in as your own).

Comes with 2001RBP preamp, power cord, footswitch & footswitch cord, manual, the 1/4" stereo cable, the mini mono cable, and warranty card.

I've come to the conclusion that I'm just not a GK guy - not sure really how else to describe it other than its just not the tone I was looking for (currently I'm very happy with my Ampeg SVP-BSP & my BBE BMAX-T so the GK is the odd man out)

I have the BMAX-T, very clean. What kind of music do you play? I would think the GK would be at the oppsite end of the tone spectrum than the BMAX.

I mainly play metal/hard rock, but just can't find something that I really like from this unit. Previously I owned the MB2-500 and wasn't happy with that (I thought it was due to it being a light-weight amp) and thought the full-blown front end to the 2001RB would be right for me.

I have one, and I'll say I love mine. Everyone likes different tones and such, but if you are a GK tone lover, get it. Simpliy a very solid unit with good features.
