The F1 amp head's 1/4" input jack works with both active and passive basses and allows you to EQ your sound with Low, Mid Low, High Low, and High control knobs, as well as Markbass' exclusive VLE (Vintage Loudspeaker Emulator) and VPF (Variable Pre-shape Filter) filters, with separate Gain and Master volume controls.

I know this is a weird question but...do you think you could sit on one of these? Often in practice when I'm not playing I plunk down on top of my amp and sit for a minute. I want one of these microheads but I am a little worried about their ability to take 180lbs.

use a longer speaker cable, put the head on the ground, and sit on your cabinet.
