Hey guys I just picked this up a couple weeks ago and it just doesn't do it for me. It's in great shape; there is some minor rack rash but other than that it's tip top. When I bought it I discovered the preamp tubes were on their way out so I ordered a Quad of JJ's from Lord Valve which cost me about 65 bucks. It hasn't really been played much since I got it. I have a Shuttle and just bought an Acoustic B200H so this one has to go. It comes with the foot switch and Manual and will ship in the original box. Pics will be up shortly.
Price is 750.00 shipped
Trade interests would be Eden or Thunderfunk. I could add cash to the deals depening on the heads we were speaking about.

Any questions feel free to PM me!

Dan

If you don't mind, what doesn't it do. This amp is on my short list and I really need to know. Thanks for any info.

Let me preface this by saying this is a great amp and I do like it, but the simple fact is that I like the Shuttle and Acoustic more. I really like the punchy-ness of the GB and it's more aggressive mid voicing.

I explain it like this: The Genz Benz is meant to punch you in the chest whereas the Mesa is more of a rattle your teeth kind of amp. It's got a hefty low end and a bigger rounder sound than the GB, and it does have a nice mid presence, enough to allow you to cut through easily, it just isn't what I was looking for. I'm just not a tube guy and this amp is about as close to a tube amp as you can get without going all tube. The OD is also amazing but once again it isn't really something I am going to use for what I'm doing now.

It's all a matter of preference, I can't fault the Mesa for anything really. I hope that helps.
