Know you say was recently serviced. Does.it have any issues?
As i remember reviews....some people liked this amp and some didnt.
I like it warm clear and full. In your.opinion.....will this amp do that.?
I actually did bump it today, it was just at 4 AM.
There are no issues. It has just been sitting around in storage for about 6-8 months, unused, and I wanted to make sure it had a clean bill of health before I put it on the market.
This amp is definitely all three-warm, clear and full. I'm not just saying that to tell you what you want to hear. That's exactly how I would describe it to someone. It doesn't break up very easily compared to other tube amps (unless, of course, you're on the overdrive channel
), So it is very clear. The tubes give it a great warmness, as with any tube amp. With it being a Peavey, it has a pretty full sound. There isn't any muddiness in the low end or lack of definition in the high end. The adjustable mid-frequency gives it the ability to adapt to your particular needs. It can be punchy if you want it to, but it can also be fairly mellow. Overall, this amp is quite versatile.
