F/S Phil Jones Bass PJB 4B Cabinet - $395

Sign in to disble this ad
F/S - Phil Jones 4B Extension Cabinet

This is listed on the 'Bay right now and I will cancel as a local sale should anyone be interested in buying it quickly.

Price is $395 (Paypal if shipped or cash local to the Denver front range) and if bought through TB, shipping is free.

This very slightly used bass cabinet has been my practice cabinet for my electric upright for the past year - though it sounds awesome with my Precision, Jazz and Stingray too. When I travel, I am usually only with my EUB and a rack bag that plugs into the house mix with their supplied monitor and a backup bass. This cabinet has never traveled since I bought it and has remained in my smoke and pet free home studio and hasn't had any real use since I bought it - maybe 2-3 hours a month tops with my EUB.

Now as I transition fully to acoustic upright bass and not many travel gigs, I really don't have an excuse to keep the cabinet. This is an excellent addition to your PJB Suitcase or Flightcase and will raise your volume significantly or you can use it as a small footprint, loud cabinet with incredible tone along with a small/micro head of your choice like I have for the past year.

If memory serves, I even have the original box and packing material and if so, that is what I will ship it in. I also have the original allen wrench for the front grill and will include it in the sale.

The cabinet is truly pristine with no wear or issues and is ready to take your playing to the next level.

From the PJB website...

Designed as an extension to the Suitcase, the addition of a 4B Extension Cabinet will make a super compact rig able to perform just about any task the working bassist requires. Loud enough to play with a powerful drummer and yet offer fidelity of bass that is unsurpassed. This diminutive duo will surprise anyone with disbelief that small cabinets can produce such levels of rich deep and powerful bass, right down to the open B string and below. It does it with authority and yet is transparent right up to the highest of frequencies. Dynamic range is beyond what you would expect; slapped bass will have snap that just can not come from horn tweeter bass cabs. The mid range is so pure that this cabinet will even produce the acoustic bass with stellar clarity. So much so that you will think you are playing an even more expensive instrument! List Price=$579.00
