F/S: Pristine EA iAmp 800

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi everyone:

SOLD

For sale is my EA iAmp 800. This has been my backup amp and has been barely used since purchased from BassNW about 2 years ago. The amp works perfectly, has been well protected in an SKB case and is barely used (I mostly use my Acoustic Image Focus amp). It's a newer version of the amp without the Sabine tuner. Comes with rack ears (pictured).

I truly love the hi-fi accuracy and power of this amp and it's 1000 watts down to 2 ohms; however, I need to raise funds to pay off the purchase of my upright bass and have decided that any equipment not getting regular play has to go.

Price Reduced to $650.00 shipped CONUS. Paypal only-no trades please.

From the EA website:

The EA iAMP has "Unmatched performance in a 19-pound package".

"The iAMP 800 has been the flagship of the EA line. This Class D, digital, iAMP 800 delivers 800 watts of pure, clean power @ 4 ohms . At 2 ohms, 1000 watts, and with a peak power rating of 2500 watts, there is enough power to handle any gig, anywhere! "

"The iAMP features an isolated, fully shielded transformer, gold plated input and output jacks*, both series and parallel effects loops, DI output, dual line voltage switch for both the US and Europe, onboard limiter, CD input and, of course, the unique EA tone shaping section. The result is a high performance, fully featured, small footprint rackmountable amp head that at under 20 pounds is comfortable powering speakers in a concert level environment. With an amazing efficiency rating of 85% the iAMP needs no cooling fan. Power when you demand it and silence when you don’t."

Specs:

Applications: acoustic instruments, bass and keyboards.
Inputs: ” Active and Passive jacks with gain LED level indicators, Mini Stereo In with volume (CD, tape)
Controls: Input Volume, EQ In/Out, Master Volume, DI Level, Speaker On/Off, DI Output On/Off
EQ: Lo, Lo-Mid, Hi-Mid, and Hi: all with boost/cut and variable frequency controls (Lo-Mid and Hi-Mid have Half/Full Octave Q switch)
EQ Presets: Deep, Contour 1, Contour 2, and Bright
Effects Loop: Series and Parallel Post EQ with independent level controls
Outputs: Two Speakon speaker, 1/4" Stereo Headphone, 1/4" Tuner/Line Out, XLR balanced DI

Frequency Response: 20Hz to 20kHz ± 3dB
Line Voltage: Selector switch located on rear panel
Power Output: 500 watts @ 8 ohms, 800 watts @ 4 Ohms, 1000 @ 2 Ohms. 2500 watts peak
Size: 3.5"H x 15.75"W x 10"D (rackmountable with included rack ears)
Weight: 19 lbs. (8.6 kg)
Other Features: Onboard Limiter

Thanks for looking!

That's a great ask price for that amp - especially in that condition. I own one and it's the most colorless powerhouse i've played. It's a keeper. Good luck and a free bump.

Thanks, Krispy. The iAmp 800 is a very powerful hi-fi bass amp. It's still available and waiting for a new home.

Hi slobes:

No case on this iAmp 800, but it does come with metal rackmount ears.

Hard to believe it's still here-bump.

Amazing hi-fi amp with 800 watts at 4 ohms and 1000 watts at 2ohms weighing less than 20lbs. If I didn't already have an amp that does this, I would keep her!
