So I just recently got this in a trade from a fellow TB'er. This thing is fantastic and is a damn cool amp, however I just got a bonus at work and I'm going to grab an SVT so this is going up.
Don't have pics atm but will post some Tuesday. Amp is at my practice space in Rockville. I just put 2 brand new Tung Sol 12AX7s in it. Rest of the tubes seem to be doing great. Comes with the leather cover. Think Traynor specs this at 42 lbs. Super easy to carry around. Switch for 4/8 ohms and can go down to 2 ohms. All spec information can be found here: http://www.traynoramps.com/products....&cat=40&type=5
$500 firm, no trades. I'd like to keep this local but if this rides for awhile with no bites I'll consider shipping. I live in Odenton and jam in Rockville so I can meet anyone in the Baltimore/DC/Annapolis area. I also work on Kent Island so if you're Delaware we could work something out too.
Edit: Pictures!
Amp with cover
Easy access to the pre tubes
Nice carry handles and small feet on one side to stand this vertically.

Also, the TRAYNOR cover with the Winged logo is vinyl not leather. Or, if you got a leather one, please send me the link!!
Any dings or rips to speak of?
Thanks!!

I can't remember if the cover is vinyl or leather. Probably vinyl. I can't remember there being a winged logo. I'll take pics tomorrow at practice.
Only cosmetic stuff seems to be a little oxidation on the corner covers. I also forgot to mention the previous owner changed all the knobs although I think they look pretty good on the amp. Again, I'll have pics tomorrow. |

LB is in fact the second owner. The power tubes are a matched quad I purchased from Eurotubes. I purchased the cover from Custom Amp Covers, it's black with brown piping. |

This thing has some mean grit to it too. |

Also practice got cancelled on Tuesday so I didn't make the trip out to Rockville. I'll be there Saturday though.

Any idea how it sounds through an 8 ohm avatar 2x12? or two..?
I'm only like 3 miles from bethel park. |

| | Brock Effin Samson | | Join Date: Aug 2010 Location: Pittsburgh | | No experience with Avatar cabs but I've been running it through my EarCandy BassBomb 212 and it gets pretty loud and sounds great. I haven't experimented with the clean tones very much, but with just my Ibanez Roadstar II P-Bass into this amp I get some great Weedeater-esque tone. Here's the only vid I could find on youtube of someone playing one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2na5P9Q6FUU
This thing is only 40 some pounds and the handles make it easy to carry. It's a lot easier to carry than the previous 6u road case rack rig I had. |
