I've had the Ampeg B4R for a few years and bought it as a back up rig. purchased it here and it's been old reliable for me. Now that I'm not giging as much, I want to trade it for a Genz Benz 750 or 1200. I've got no problem adding some cash on my end. sorry folks but I only want Genz. I've got a shuttle and a few neo cabs and i want to pair them up.
The head is in real good shape. shows some slight wear from being in the rack. Has that Ampeg solid state sound you would expect, but has a surprising amount of tonal options.
Can go to 2 ohms (500x2)/ 1000 monobridged@ 4ohms/ or 700 monobridged@ 8ohms
plenty of power. It's a no nonsense head, and a workhourse. I only giged the head 3 times while I had it. the rest of the time it was waiting in my basement to get the call to go into action. recently had it checked out by a Tec and it has a clean bill of health. I will include the 4 space gator rack case in the pic.
this is the only pic I could find for the time being, and my camera is acting up. I'll post more when I can. PM if this sounds interesting.
