Up for trade is my Ampeg SVT5PRO stereo bass head able to run 2ohm loads.
Has some slight ware on a few knobs and the bottom screw came out of the left rack handle but dosent effect anything,
everthing works as it should with no issues and has been racked.
This thing just killed in the heavy rock band i was in with two loud guitarist,
but i have now joined a R&B band with a massive PA system and no longer need so much power.
Im open to ideas as far as trades go, these are USA made
and cost over 1K new.
An Aguilar AG500 would be at the top of the list however
something with half the power in the 500-600 watt range
would work.I may consiter a power amp and preamp setup as well.
BE SURE TO SCROLL DOWN I WILL TRADE THE COMPLETE RIG FOR SOMETHING SMALLER. Added sale price $550 shipped to the lower 48.
The SVT-5 PRO features two separate channels, clean and overdrive, giving the user the ability to switch from channel to channel, or combine the two channels via the four button footswitch. A 12AX7 tube located at the input stage of the preamp, adds warmth and fullness to the input signal enhancing the overall tone of the amplifier.
Two separate power amplifiers are contained within the SVT-5 PRO, delivering 600 watts in stereo or a massive 1350 watts in the mono-bridged mode. The tone shaping possibilities the SVT-5 PRO offers are very extensive with features such as, a built-in compressor, variable midrange selector control, and an octave circuit that adds a note one octave lower to the note being played.
The back panel offers many patching possibilities for the user to choose from; a tuner out jack, effects loops for the clean and overdrive channels, preamp out jacks for the clean and overdrive channels, preamp out jack for the octave circuit, transformer balanced XLR line outs, and power amp in jacks for connecting an external preamp to either or both channels. Durable and long lasting locking Neutrik Speakon jacks are used for the speaker output jacks ensuring a strong and trouble free signal.
