fEarful 12/6 -- On Hold

Sign in to disble this ad
Pickup in Hood River Oregon area preferred, but I will consider delivering from Eugene to Seattle to the Tri-Cities Wa. area for my actual gas costs.

Specs: Kappalite 3012LF woofer, 6ND410 midrange, no tweeter, Reliable Hardware grill, custom Passinwind crossover as pictured in TB fEarful Wiki. Built by me... It is quite heavy for a fEarful 12/6 due to the bomber 3/4" Europly construction (~60 pounds), and probably would be most appealing to someone who wants a nice looking practice cab at home or a great sounding dedicated rehearsal cab for moderate volume situations. It records really well too.

I have played maybe a dozen gigs with this cab, and used it for solo practice nearly every weekday since I built it. It is built in the original 12/6 form factor, making it just slightly larger than the current design.

Selling because I always seem to end up needing something either smaller or bigger on my gigs.

This is one of the best cab's I've ever heard... And it's by far the 'blingiest' cab of all time!

Be like Mike, uh Nike... just do it!

Can't think about that until after Christmas, but if it's still here then I'll let you know.

Charlie;

Does it come with a Sherpa?

Seriously folks, this is an amazing cab. Unfortuately for me, the weight is a deal breaker. One of you strong young bucks in the northwest Oregon/ southwest Washington area is going to get a hell of a cab.

I suppose Tacoma would be a little too far to drive?

Closer than Sacramento at least!

PM me if you decide you want to discuss this some more. Tacoma's well within reason from my standpoint.

Awesome! I might be visiting my parents in Sequim in the next few weeks and I'll be passing through Tacoma. I'll PM you if that happens... honestly it's about a 50/50 chance at this point. If I don't end up buying it, good luck with the sale. Somebody's gonna get a nice cab!

Thanks!

Wow, this is exactly the cab I've been hoping to build (maybe not the 3/4" part, but still ) and it's even local! Too bad I can't swing the cash for a bit (Christmas and all)...

I don't suppose you'd have any interest in non-bass related trades (or partial trades) would you?

Sorry boys, couldn't help myself. You're only young once, but you can be immature forever.
