Feeler F/T Only: SVP PRO for GK(or possibly a 4 string)

Sign in to disble this ad
I have a 97' Blue letter Ampeg SVP PRO. I havnt had it long. While I love the sound of this with my P and J basses, it doesnt get along too well with my Cirrus. Takes alot of re-eq'ing to get the punch I want(then it sounds great). I need to be able to switch between the basses without so much of a drastic difference.
I'm not even 100% sure I would part with the pre yet but I figured why not put it up and see what happens.
The pre is flawless inside. Just yesterday I took it to my tech Jerry at FJA Mods and he took the entire thing apart and went through everything top to bottom. Touched up some solder joints gave it a thorough twice over and gave it a clean bill of health. He will verify this if anyone wishes to speak with him.
Trade wise, I would be interested in a GK1001rbII or maybe a 800rb. If someone had a 2001rb I would throw in my new QSC PLX 1602 and my 10 space gator rack with the SVP.
I am NOT interested in a 400rb or a 2000rb. No Backline series ect ect.... The ONLY thing I would be into would be the 3 listed above.
A local deal would be awsome so you can come hear this thing. But I would certainly ship without hesitation.

Oh, and FYI.....This preamp is noisless. It does not hiss like some SVP's have been said to.

I will put up a stock pic just so you know what it is. But I will snap some new ones of it at rehearsal tonight.

Its also possible I might consider a 4 string trade instead of an amp.
It must have a 1.5" or 1 5/8" nut width. Nothing wider. Absolutely no 5 or 6 strings. If there is a bass trade being discussed I will consider the preamp alone or the whole pre/poweramp rig.
